The Minister of National Defense, João Gomes Cravinho and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Luso-American Foundation for Development (FLAD), Rita Faden, signed this Wednesday, December 22, a memorandum of understanding between the two institutions.

This memorandum aims to establish the FLAD Atlantic Security Award, which annually awards two research projects that demonstrate the ability to contribute to knowledge progress on issues related to current challenges in the field of Security and Defence in the Atlantic area, with the allocation of funding of 20,000 euros to each project.
