This report presents the detailed results of the "Inquérito à População Portuguesa sobre Defesa Nacional e Forças Armadas", a study carried out in a partnership between the National Defense Institute (IDN), the Directorate-General for National Defense Resources (DGRDN), the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Lisbon (ICS-ULisboa) and the Portuguese Institute of International Relations (IPRI-Nova). The survey was carried out between January and February 2021, and the results were publicly presented on the IDN on July 7, 2021.
