The Ministry of National Defence and the National Defence Institute will organize, on November 26th and 27th, the second edition of the National Defence Seminar, a yearly initiative of the Minister of National Defence with the objective of promoting the discussion of topics central to National Defence, bringing together the community of stakeholders in this public sovereign policy.
This second edition, which will take place online, includes a first day of restricted sessions that will address the topics of ‘Armed Forces Participation in Complex Crisis Response Missions’ and ‘Defence Human Resources’ , and a second day which is open access to the general public. This day's sessions will be broadcast exclusively on National Defence online platforms and will highlight the great challenges for the Future of European Defence, in anticipation of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union during the first half of 2021.
