Post Graduation in National Defence Law

The course is structured around the main areas of National Defense Law: the first sessions are dedicated to the national framework and the growing relationship between Defense and the Economy, followed by sessions related to the international regulatory framework, necessarily focused on NATO and the UN, and European, concentrate on the European Union and the progressive space that Defense has been gaining in this context.

Classes take place on Tuesdays, after working hours (18:00/19:30 – 19:45/21:15), at the premises of the National Defense Institute (Calçada das Necessidades, 5) and, at the same time, in Porto (Castelo da Foz, Esplanada of the Castle).

The course is aimed at all those who work or intend to work in the field of Defense, in the public or private sector, with or without legal training, and all those interested in deepening their knowledge in these matters.​​

The Application Form must be filled in in its entirety and sent to the European Institute of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon to the email instituteeuropeu@fd.ulisboa.pt​ together with the following documents:

 • Curriculum vitae

 • Copy of the degree's qualifications certificate

 • Copy of certificate from other relevant Courses for this purpose

 • 1 Passport photograph

Note: Registration will only be considered after receipt of the respective payment.

Bribe: €1,200

Payment Methods:

A full payment of €1,200 at the time of registration has a 5% reduction in the total amount.

Phased payment:

The first instalment of €400 is paid upon registration;
The second instalment of €400 is paid until December 15, 2021;
The last instalment of €400 is paid until January 31, 2022.

Certificate: A certificate of participation will be provided to auditors who participate in at least 80% of the course modules.

Assessment, optional: presentation, under the terms of the assessment regulation, of a final written work on a topic or sub-theme of the Course.​
