Security and Defence Seminar for Youth Associations

The Security and Defence Seminar for Youth Associations aims to raise awareness, value and clarify elements of youth associations, preferably leaders, by promoting reflection and debate on major national and international problems affecting the field of security and defence.

Goals

Provide auditors with basic knowledge on the main issues related to national and international security and defence.
Promote the development of a safety and defence culture for auditors.
Deepen auditors' awareness of security and defence issues.
To provide mutual contact and exchange ideas between auditors with diverse academic backgrounds and professional experiences.

Recipients

Elements of youth associations, preferably leaders.

Selection Criteria

The preferred criteria for attending the seminar are:

Age between 18 and 35 years old, at the start of the Security and Defense Seminar for Youth Associations;
Preferably possessing a degree or attending higher education.

Applications

Participants in the Security and Defense Seminar for Youth Associations are nominated by the respective youth associations that have been invited by the IDN or that have expressed interest in attending the seminar.
