Between the 1st of January and the 30th of June 2021, Portugal holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. In the framework of the Presidency official program, the National Defense Institute will organize one public event and three specialized reflection and debate events, under the themes “EU-NATO Cooperation” (15 February), “Compared Experiences in CSDP missions in Africa” (2 March), “Hybrid threats in the context of European security” (18 May) and “Strategic Compass the way ahead” (1 June).
