This text aims to briefly analyze the evolution of the structures of civilian control and high command of the Armed Forces in the Euro-Atlantic area. The main conclusion is that in the decades that have followed the end of the Cold War, in the Euro-Atlantic, there was a wave of important reforms in this field. These reforms have been carried out by our main partners and allies, in successive waves, up to the present.
