The last three years have been characteristic ally with a proliferation of strategic documents, whether focused on security and defense issues in the strictest sense, or on the broader external projection. Following the organization of a cycle of workshops on the subject, this IDN Cadernos aims to provide a systematization that contextualizes the main strategic priorities of different countries and organizations. The selected cases thus cover a set of strategic documents from the USA, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, the European Union, NATO, Japan, China and Russia, with the aim of examining the main options and innovations proposed, as well as exploring their adaptability to the surrounding context.
