Under the general theme “Energy Security in the Mediterranean”, another C4 Colloquium was held at the National Defense Institute (IDN) in Lisbon, in the period of 23/24 May, a forum for reflection on the Mediterranean region that integrates Portugal, Spain, Italy, and France. In accordance with the terms of reference of this initiative, to address this general topic, 4 Working Groups were set up to discuss the subtopics: “Energy transition in the Mediterranean area ”, “Regional crisis around Mediterranean area and Europe's strategic autonomy”, “Energy cooperation with southern neighboring countries” and “Protection of critical energy infrastructures around the Mediterranean area”.
The Portuguese participation was coordinated by the National Defense Institute (IDN) and the delegation consisted of 2 members of the Military University Institute and six former auditors of the National Defense Course.
