The National Defence Institute was awarded the second prize (honorable mention) of the 2021 edition of the National Defense and Equality Award, instituted by the Ministry of National Defense in 2020. The attribution of this award, highly prestigious to the Institute, recognizes the effort of the entire team in promoting equality between men and women in our research, training, debate, dissemination and cooperation activities. This is also a stimulus for us to remain aware and active in eliminating inequalities that prevent full citizen participation in the spheres of security and defense.
