The IDN published Nº32 of the Atena Collection, entitled "O Pacto Ibérico, a NATO e a Guerra Colonial", by Professor María José Tíscar.
"The work reveals a history of understandings and disagreements, of compromises and tensions. Always served by solid archival research and a rigorous historical narrative that, arguably, adds knowledge to the state of the matter in Portuguese and Spanish historiography.
This is yet another work whose publication honours the National Defense Institute and the Atena collection, but which, in the first place, honours the author, María José Tíscar, and will constitute an unavoidable contribution, not only to the history of the Iberian Pact as for the contemporary history of Portugal and Spain".
