The ATENA Collection publishes the results of the research carried out at IDN, as well as high-quality doctoral theses in the scope of National and International Security and Defence.

More than 40 volumes have been published since 1998. ATENA favours plural reflection and debate on the theoretical field of international relations, strategy, security, and defence.

Editorial Guidelines

The Athena collection adopts the Harvard Anglia bibliographic reference system, one of the most used in the field of social sciences. This system uses the author and date reference in the body of the text and a list of bibliographic references at the end of the written article, organized in alphabetical order.
