The Russia-Ukraine war has fundamentally disrupted the European security order, with European countries reviewing their defense policies, committing to greater defense spending, and upholding their military support to Ukraine. At the same time, transatlantic relations have been strengthened and NATO has enlarged to include Finland, and most likely, Sweden. With NATO's upcoming summit in Vilnius, this webinar will discuss the war in Ukraine, sixteen months after Russia's aggression marked the return of inter-state war in Europe, the implications for European defence following the collapse of the post-cold war European security order, and the prospects of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration.
