The Portuguese Ministry of National Defence has been supporting, since 2014, a Grants Program aimed at the development of projects and activities of interest in the area of National Defence.
The main areas for the Projects to be supported in 2021 are the following:
National Security and Defence strategy;
Politics and International Security;
Transatlantic Relations;
European Security and Defence policy;
Security and development in Africa;
Digital transformation and defence;
Citizenship and defence public policies.
The MDN Grants Programme aims to fostering doctrinal and strategic reflection in the fields of security and defence, as well as the promotion of events and initiatives relevant to the military sphere.
