The National Defence Institute organized, between 12 and 16 April, with the sponsorship of the Presidency of the Regional Government of Madeira, the third module of the 6th Security and Defence Intensive Course - Madeira 2020/2021.
This last module under the theme "The Regional Reality in the Field of Security and Defence", focused on Madeira’s regional reality on defence and security issues, included an inaugural conference by the High Representative of the Republic for the Autonomous Region of Madeira and several conferences by local authorities.
Modules 1 and 2 under the themes “The General Framework for Security and Defence” and “The National Defence Policy”, took place respectively in November 2020 and February 2021. Given the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the sixth CISEDE-M was held in a synchronous online environment.
